Cozy Cargo
Combat isn't the only way to play a roguelike. Sometimes, the enemy is just a bad mood, and your best weapon is a carefully packed box of comforts.
📦 About the Game
Cozy Cargo is a tactile spatial deckbuilder and puzzle roguelike. Step into a sunlit, golden-hour workshop and take on 7 Days of unique client requests. Your job ? Pack the ultimate box of comfort.
Draft from a pool of unique items—from Throw Pillows and Scented Candles to Vintage Radios and Succulents—and arrange them in irregular shipping boxes. But it’s not just about making things fit; it’s about how they feel together.
✨ Core Features
-
The Synergy Engine: Items have tags like
[Heat],[Soft], and[Vintage]. Place a Mug of Tea next to Wool Socks to trigger satisfying synergy combos and watch your Comfort Score soar! Be careful, though—putting a hot Candle next to a Vintage Diary might cost you points. - Spatial Roguelike Deckbuilding: Choose 1 of 3 random items to keep at the end of each day. Build a custom "deck" of physical items tailored to your specific packing strategy.
- Tactile & Juicy Puzzle Solving: Enjoy soft ASMR sound effects, bouncy squash-and-stretch animations, and real-time hover previews that make puzzle-solving a smooth, relaxing experience.
- Procedural Requests: Every day brings a new client with a unique, irregular box shape and a higher target Comfort Score. Can you survive the week?
🎮 How to Play
- Left Click & Drag items from your drawer into the cardboard box.
- Right Click while holding an item to rotate it 90 degrees.
- Hover over items in your drawer to read their Synergy rules.
- Fill the Receipt: Reach the Target Comfort score to unlock the "Seal Box" button and proceed to the next day!

Hey, thanks a lot for the time you took on the game ! That’s the first time someone actually makes content on a game of mine, and it is really precious feedback. 😊 If you’re open to it, I’ll get in touch with you within a few days as I’ve made changes regarding some of your feedback 😄
I'll likely note be doing any follow up videos for the 7DRLs as I plan on doing a video for all the other entries. Feel free to contact me though if you plan on releasing the game on the Steam Store or something major though like a year's worth of updates.
This is really cute and I enjoyed the modifier/deckbuilder aspects. It was a bit frustrating to find out some things snap differently e.g. the desk lamp, would be clearer for their shape or shading to represent the full footprint.
Looking forward to seeing this expand!
Thank you for your feedback 😊 I’m sorry if these made you frustrated, I am currently working on fixing this, and expanding the game ! Looking forward to your new feedback when it rolls out 😉
Fun and cozy packing puzzle game. My favourite combinations are cozy and vintage.
I don't think the "General" and "Controls" settings are supposed to be blank though? Would be nice to have keyboard controls, like Rotate being bound to "R", Seal Box to "S" or "Enter", Arrow Keys to select items, etc..
I do appreciate the Linux build too! Though for some reason I get slight hitches when moving objects around that doesn't appear in the web version (could be my laptop though, and otherwise doesn't effect the experience)
Thanks a lot for your comment :) You’re right, I’m implementing keyboard controls right now ! I use Linux myself and I don’t have issues on web nor on Linux so idk sorry 😅 But still thanks for the feedback 😃
A very nice, original and well-packaged game! ^__^
Haha thank you for your feedback, I’ll keep that joke in mind xD
really cool! always thought of playing/buying a game about packing with effects / modifiers and that was a great execution of that idea. Though for me the game was just too eash (wanted to have a little more challange or smth..) In general it's great work!
Thanks for your review ! That’s really motivating, and I’m working as we speak on expanding the game to make it less easy and more feature-rich 😄
it's fun puzzling out how to fit things in to get the highest comfort points! i'd love it if somebody actually sent me a box like this 🎁📦
Thanks a lot for your feedback ! I’m currently updating the game and adding things to it 😉
